HELP RUN OUR CHAPTER
This chapter is run by volunteers and we rely on you to help us be the chapter you want us to be. To volunteer for any of our committees please fill out our volunteer form.
Chapter Championship
Organizes the Chapter Championship to be held in July. Plans event and coordinates with EWGA, Association Headquarters to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
Communications
Tish Hess, Chair
communications@ewganyc.org
Produces e-newsletter, maintains website, updates hotline, coordinates advertising, monitors chapter email, maintains chapter calendar, works with local news media to promote the chapter.
Education
Patricia Dahl, Chair
Coordinates clinics for all levels, arranges seminars on golf-related topics and develops mentoring events. Plans Beginner - Mentor Golf Outings.
Finance
Suzanne Sobeski, Chair
Supervises all financial matters of the chapter, including chapter budget, monthly reporting and mainteneance of database recordds.
Golf Events
Marie Sanchez, Chair
Organizes all golf outings, appoints a chair for each golf event. Committee members are asked to take primary responsibility for one event.
Handicap
Mary Anne Peronti, Chair
Assists membership in obtaining and maintaining an official USGA handicap index. Works with the Chapter Championship Chair on championship handicaps. Conducts annual handicap seminar.
Leadership
Peggy Chane, Chair
Recruits volunteers, coordinates leadership development and training and runs chapter elections.
Leagues
Plans organized play in the spring and fall for both beginner and intermediate players.
Membership
Kathy Lee, Chair
Promote membership, recruit new members, maintain membership roster and mailing list and contact new and inactive members.
Open Play / League
Caryn Stepner, Chair
Coordinates all weekend options for playing golf with other EWGA members.
Social Events
Debbie Salerno, Chair

Organizes all non-golf events such as Tee-Off, networking and end-of-season events.
Sponsorship
Fran Linton, Chair
sponsorship@ewganyc.org
Secures sponsorships, prizes, and other funds to supplement the operations of the chapter.
